So allow for that otherwise your children may be fearful of the entire pool. The best defense against drowning is teaching them to swim.

There are many options in choosing a pool, and you may decide on an above ground pool. They are definitely cheaper and should last for several years. If you still have your heart on an in-ground pool youll still find many options as to size, shape, depth and accessories.

In your planning phase, search for a pool contractor, one who can plan, design, construct the pool, get the necessary permits, and install the pool filter, vacuum, heater,and be there from start to finish. Just be sure to check the companys references, and when you sign on the dotted line, be fair and pay a minimum down payment with payments during installation and the final upon completion. The contractor should have a printed contract with start dates and an approximate completion date. Whats left, is for you to enjoy.
