Planning A Toy Story 3 Themed Party
Themed Partyware "" For a themed party you will obviously need party products
. In this case Toy Story 3 party plates, cups, napkins, tablecovers, party loot bags, balloons, and blowouts. Remember to also send out a Toy Story 3 party invite to all of your guests, maybe suggesting fancy dress for an even better party.
Venue "" Now you have taken the decision to hold a themed party, you need to decide on a venue? The cheapest and probably the easiest option would be to hold your themed party at home. Your little Woody or Buzz is more likely to feel the most comfortable and relaxed in a home environment. However your home might not be big enough to accommodate a hoard of Buzz Lightyear"s running around shouting "To infinite and beyond".
If the weather is nice, why not go down to the park or beach. Some blankets and cushions along with your party ware may be all you need for a memorable kids party. There are many other venues that offer kids party hosting, including fast food restaurants, entertainment centres and child friendly pubs/restaurants. These venues may well have all the facilities needed to host a kids party, but you may well be limited in your choice of decorations, especially for a themed party. There is also the price to take into consideration, which can be considerable.
Food "" Food for your themed party will be determined by your choice of location. Most party venues will have a set childrens party menu to choose from varying in price. If you do decide to do the catering yourself, you will need to bear in mind the age range (adults as well) and any dietary needs of your guests. Remember though, no matter how old you are nearly everyone loves kids party food.
Games and activities "" To really get your party going, you may wish to suggest on the party invites a fancy dress theme, with prizes for all who come as a Toy Story 3 character. There are a number of simply games to play, such as keep the balloon in the air. You give each child balloon (write their names on the balloons to avoid arguments) then give each child a piece of A4 paper or card. The child that keeps the balloon in the air the longest is then declared the winner.
Party treasure hunt. This game can be played either in or out doors. Hide different party goodies, in a set area. Then depending on the amount of guests you have, you could either split into teams or play as individuals. The players then either have to collect a certain amount or find a list of goodies to be declared the winner. Objects could include any party ware from blowouts and toys, to sweets and treats. Just make sure you have enough treasure so everyone can find something.
These are just a few ideas and suggestions to hopefully make your Toy Story 3 themed party the most talked about kid"s party of the summer (for all the right reasons). The only thing to remember is to let your imagination run riot, as they are not children for very long.
