In the game, the mischievous roommate will attempt to put his hand in the fish bowl and catch the gold fish. After he caught the goldfish, he will throw it on a pan on top of a burning stove. To win the game, you must save as many goldfish as possible. When the fish is thrown into the pan, it will flop around in pain. In order to save the goldfish, you must click on it and hold down the left mouse button. When you hold down the left button of the mouse, the fish will be grabbed by you. Afterwards, you must guide the mouse cursor to the top of the fish bow and let go of it. Once you let go of the mouse cursor, the fish will drop into the fish bowl. You will earn points for every goldfish that you save. The goldfish will smile when you put it back in the fish bowl. When the goldfish is on the pan, it will say Save Me. When you drop the goldfish into the fish bowl, your points will be displayed.

If you fail in your attempt to save the goldfish, they will die cooked in the pan. You will lose the game if more than three goldfish are killed. If you achieve 5000 points, the limit will be extended by one. The limit can be extended up to 5. The number of dead goldfish will be displayed on the lower left pane. As soon as the goldfish is released to the hot pan, you must quickly grab hold of it. If you linger for too long, the gold fish will become too hot and burn your hand. When your hand is burned, the goldfish you are holding will drop to the ground. You will have to wait for a while before your hand is recovered from the burns. If you drop the goldfish on the table surface, it will lie half dead on it. It is not too late to rescue the fish if it lies on the table surface.

This pet game online is not without its difficulties. In the advanced levels, the roommate will drop more goldfish at a faster rate. When you manage to rescue ten goldfish, the roommate will add another goldfish to the skillet. You are awarded with more points if you are able to drop the fish at a faster rate.
