Playstation 3 in 3d is an interesting concept
I'm personally pretty stoled about 3d videogames
. I've seen some demos and they look really amazing, I can't wait to get to try them out. Too bad 3dtv's aren't so cheap. Even if I'm still waiting for my flying cars, the next generation of games in 3d is going to be awesome.
I hope.
Anyways, Firmware update 3.30 brings a new dimension to gaming. PS3 is already 3D-ready, even if Sony's not atleast yet.
Available from April 2010, firmware update the company's 3.30 ensures that the console will be compatible with stereoscopic games. And, although not at present 3D content, several titles to be released when the new Sony Bravia range of 3D HDTVs on sale.
Comes at some point, the first 3D titles are expected to be new versions of Wipeout HD, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Gt5, Pain and Super Stardust HD. All are available on the PlayStation Network, although initially only available to buyers Sony Bravia TV. Still no idea when a firmware update for compatibility with 3D Blu-ray will emerge. But to be honest, except 40C7000 Samsung, which went on sale today at the Oxford store John Lewis's Street, there is a huge range of 3DTVs to watch movies on. Other improvements that come with the 3.30 update includes many new possibilities for life easier Trophy Award collectors, and rare reports of increased support Flash, like YouTube and other video sites to become smoother browsing on PS3. As with most firmware updates multiple instances of process problems, some of the "brick", reported nothing unusual and, seemingly, of a very small scale.
