The PlayStation Eye also has a built-in microprocessor that can be used for voice tracking and backgroundooh suppression, and most importantly, audio chat! Because of its high sensitivity in tracking the uses's voice, the PlayStation Eye can easily replace a headset as you mike of choice.

It features EyeCreate video editing software, which enables users to capture pictures, videos, and audio clips directly to the memory unit of the PlayStation 3 console. EyeCreate features a variety of different capturing modes, including stop-motion and time-lapse. Through the software, users can edit, save, and share their own custom images, movies, and audio content.Since the PlayStation 3 was always meant to take over the computer, the introduction of a PlayStation Eyewas only a matter of time, as without it.
