The researchers added that people who commuted to work usually were aware of other people's cold symptoms, 67% of people said they would still go to work by bus even if they were ill. 20% of respondents said they were irritated at other passengers who did not use paper towels when sneezing. 33% of people said they were angry people who did not muffle their mouths when they cough. Men seem to be more susceptible to make error because only 67% of them carried paper towel while 67% of women carried paper towel. 12% of passengers said they would feel nervous when they saw people sneezing. Only 8% of the people would directly advised the person who were sneezing to pay attention to his behavior, most people chose to walk away or laughed it off.

Hannah Novak, one of the researchers, says we cant completely avoid the bacteria, but we can still take many measures to prevent their spread, especially when you are sitting on a crowded bus. She reminded people should consider others before sneezing, otherwise, cold virus can be spread to other passengers on the bus within 5 minutes. In addition, the researchers also suggested that we should smile happily on the way to work because good mood can enhance the immunity.
