Plus Size Clothing Finally Made Easy

Wearability is a buzz word that has been used a whole lot in the world of fashion

for the past decade or so as more and more designers try to be more relevant to the people that actually walk the streets and exist in the world outside of the world of fashion. In the rarefied atmosphere of the fashion world the clothes that fashion designers come up with are worn on catwalks and at fashion shows by models who are in their late teens or increasingly even in their early teens and have the bodies of teenagers, in the real world however these same clothes are actually bought and are worn by grown ups who have grown up figures and this is where the question of wearability goes out of the window.

If you are a grown up and specially a grown up woman who no longer has the body of a young girl and have actually developed the curves that a real womans body has then you may sooner or later find to your dismay if you have not already realised it yet that most of these clothes that form what the designers call their wearable lines are actually not the right sizes for you.

Even though the designers are making more of an effort to make sure that their clothes are actually wearable in the real world by people who have real jobs and lead normal lives, what most fashion designers still fail to do is make clothes that fit real people. For these real people who have bodies that come in all shapes and sizes and not just the homogenous size zero with a shape that is a straight line up and down, this becomes a problem. Clothing that is fashionable and stylish, that does not break the bank and that flatters your figure and makes you look your best is hard to find for most of us at the best of times. But if you happen to be one of those unfortunate people who also happen to be a little over weight or just endowed really well, the process of finding clothes becomes a nightmare.

Not only do most clothing lines not make plus size clothing but even when they do, they are notoriously hard to find as most clothes shops do not stock these sizes and no self respecting person wants to step in to a store that sells only plus size clothing.
