Poker Enigma

In my quest to improve my game I have read many articles about poker and found that there are as many theories as there are possible poker hands

. Poker is an enigma it is complex math and stupid luck, it is theory and gut feeling, in short great fun and maddening at the same time.

Due to the maddening nature of the game I decided to see if I could logically go about creating a system for myself that would take the emotional and irrational thought process out of my game. (I hate being the victim of a bad beat I tend to go on tilt for awhile afterwards and I know many of you do also!)

If you have sought advice on poker undoubtedly you have come to the conclusion that based upon what cards you have been dealt that there is a percentage associated with those cards (based upon out cards still available) and that determines your odds of winning. The problem here is that you need to calculate the various scenarios in your head then determine if it is odds-feasible to continue betting. I know there are those of you who can perform this math very quickly and instinctively understand how much to bet and when to bet. I think anyone who plays enough poker innately acquires this skill at least to some degree.

I am pretty sure Murphy (Murphy's Law) came up with the term "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" was playing poker at the time. The only true constancy associated with the game. The next closest constant factor is the odds of your hand, with this in mind I created a program that at its heart simulates 10,000 hands every time I am dealt a card and updates me with my new odds. I want real world answers to my questions not just theoretical hyperbole and I want answers immediately in an easy to understand format, based upon the 10,000 simulated hands I get them.

I hope to have my program user-ready in about another two months, if you are interested in testing my program visit my Blog www.ExtremePokerBlog.com and leave me your email address and as soon as I get the program completed I'll send you a free 60 day trial version of the program, after that if you want to purchase a full version of the program I'll have one available for only $19.99 (I know its way to inexpensive but I would like to get some word-of mouth advertising before I charge what it is worth).
