Yesterday, a lesson was reinforced in my life's cardinal points:

You never know what is possible, until you try!

And today, as the lesson continues to let my mind encircle it in thoughts, I begin to wonder if really life can be that easy: Just for the asking!

But you see; the fundamentals of living a life of possibilities, starts in the mind.

The mind is the factory, where the fabrics of our thoughts are knit; thread by thread.

Like Astrid Alauda says: You must weed your mind as you would weed your garden

That is my point today!

Some of us have lived our lives, believing fables and obnoxious traditions

We have let these things sweep through our mind's doors and we have mortgaged our possibilities for fear.

I agree with you; Life is not a bed of rosesBut believe me, it is also not a bed of thorns to prick you at every turn!

In this faade, we have lived; tortured by our own thoughts that tell usIt is not possible!

We have lived within the limitations of our pessimist minds that never let us encounter moments of fresh breaths of optimismmoments of possibilities!

Little wonder Mark Twain declares that there is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.

And that is simply because he knows the severe damage that pessimism has done to our societies!

The theatres of dreams that have been made cemeteries of latent potentials

Pessimism has indeed made life, a little bit less ordinary than it should be.

So today when I read these lines from Cicero again and again, there were many answers my heart sought

A mental stain can neither be blotted out by the passage of time nor washed away by any waters

The chief question that raises its head in my mind becomes: What then will?

And I look no further than to say the belief that all things are possible to them that believeeven them that believe enough to ask

For ultimately life answers the call of one of its eternal laws: Ask and you shall receive!
