Porcelain Veneers Can Be Used To Repair Chipped Teeth
A Porcelain Veneers is an ultra thin layer of porcelain that is attached to the front
of the tooth to either amend the shape, size and the structure of the tooth. They can be used to cap over the cracked tooth, re-structure the chipped tooth so that it once again functions as proper tooth should. They can also be used to cover up discoloured teeth so that they look more aesthetically pleasing.
Due to the Porcelain Veneers being ultra thin (roughly half a millimetre) they are easily attachable to the front of the tooth. Even though they are very thin and slight, they are very strong and can withstand most pressure placed upon them; this is not to say that if you do not take good care of them they will last forever.
