Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a form of holistic medicine that has been used in China for centuries. The Chinese believe that illness and pain occur when the body's qi or energy flow becomes stuck or stagnant. An acupuncturist will insert very fine , disposable needles and the needles are usually as thin as a hair, and are used only once before they are disposed into specific points in the body to alter the flow of qi and return the body to a state of balance or health.
Acupuncture treats many disorders including but not limited to:
1. Neurological Disorders: Neuralgia, insomnia, dizziness, post-stroke recovery, facial palsy, trigeminal neuralgias
2. Gastrointestinal Disorders: Food allergies, ulcers, chronic diarrhea, constipation, indigestion, GI weakness, gastritis, anorexia, nausea.

3. Myofascial Release helps ease the tension in the fascia or body's connective tissue. This technique is an effective form of pain reduction from those who suffer from Fibromyalgia, functional Scoliosis, Lupus, and Myofascial Pain Syndrome,
4. Pain Relief Massage uses a combination of techniques such as Swedish, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Ortho-Bionomy.
5. Deep Tissue Massage is a form of therapeutic massage that goes deep into the muscles that lie close to the bone.
6. Pregnancy Massage helps relieve the muscle spasms and cramps that occur during pregnancy, increases blood circulation and lymphatic circulation, reduces edema, and increases cellular respiration. Furthermore, all of these benefits may be passed on to the baby.
7. Trigger Point Therapy seeks out the tight, irritable spots in a muscle and uses specific compression techniques that allow the trigger points to release thus relaxing the entire muscle.
