Pre workout Nutrition

If you workout then you should know that proper nutrition is key when it comes to reaching your fitness goals. In this article we will go over proper pre workout nutrition and what you need to put in you body before your workouts to get the best results.

If you are about to get ready for a hardcore workout always remember to take your pre workout nutrition very seriously. Most people don't take anything before a workout and just go straight to it, but what they are really doing is just cheating themselves. You should consume around 20 grams of protein and about 40 grams of carbs before each workout to carry you through and reduce muscle breakdown.

The type of protein and carbs you take are also important. Whey protein is the best because it is the fastest digestive protein you can consume. Whey is also rich in BCAAs which are also very important when it comes to workout nutrition.

For carbs the best type would be fruit, sweet potatoes, oatmeal or whole wheat bread. The carbs in these foods will give your body a slow and steady form of energy which will keep you energized through the workout. Fruits such as apples and oranges have other advantages besides just carbs and would probably be the best source for you. Or if your workouts are just focused on extreme fat loss you should forget about the carbs all together and just take the whey protein.

This is just a little information about pre workout nutrition and I hope it will help you.
