Prepare For Neet Entrance Exam With Proper Plan Of Action

Neet PG

Neet PG

One Nation One Exam

In One Attempt

It is Only one, it is you who is born to win

It is a challenge for everyone how to manage revising 19 subjects in such a short time. But I find the following ways to optimize the limited life in a effective way . First Come out of Anger and Denial that NEETPG is so early in November.

krodhd bhavati sammohah

sammoht smrti-vibhramah

smrti-bhramsd buddhi-nso

buddhi-nst pranasyati

From anger [losing one's order] one gets illusioned and from illusion the memory gets bewildered. With the memory disturbed one loses one's intelligence and from that loss of intelligence one falls down. Root cause of Fear

19 Subjects , 20000 Facts tested , limited time.

There is a list of 627 topics into which entire Question Banks get organized .

You can find the list on download pdf of 627 Hot topics list for NEETPG at onlinembbs.com.

These topics are organized in a descending order from most frequently tested to least frequently asked topics. The topics are based on analysis of 15000 MCQs from past 15 years of AIIMS/PGI/AIPGEE Question papers . You grade for yourself ,the list of topics into 6 categories A B C D E F .

Category A - I already know this topic confidently in my MBBS Days only

e.g Myocardial infarction , Glomerulonephritis etc

Category B - I tried it in my MBBS Days but I got boggled about it and the topic always scares me

e.g Liddles syndrome , Congenital adrenal hyperplasia , Testicular feminization syndrome , Biostatistics

Category C - I never read this topic in MBBS Days

e.g Purine Pyrimidine Metabolism , DNA RNA , Apoptosis , Antipsychotic drugs .

Category D - This is a topic ,if I read also , I forget it

e.g Culture media , Anti epileptic drugs , Insecticides

Category E - This topic consumes a lot of my time .

e.g Regulation of respiration , Renal tubular acidosis

Category F These are the topics , I cant afford to miss since examiner will not excuse and competitors crush me under their feet if I ignore .

e.g Bone tumors , Ovarian cancers , Glaucoma , HIV , Leprosy ,Psoriasis , Inheritance patterns , ANS Pharmacology.

What do you need to do with the graded topic list

Category A -I already know this topic confidently in my MBBS Days only You need not read them Ignore

one is good at some topics

No one is ignorant about all topics

May be the ward where you did Internship , you had so many Meningitis cases , that you became expert in meningitis topic

May be your roommate is good in that topic that made you good with that topic,

May be your family member had diabetic nephropathy , that you became good in diabetic nephropathy . May be you participated in pulse polio programme as intern , you became good at vaccines . May be your fiance had a HIV Needle prick , you became good at HIV topic . If you are confident, don't touch that topic , you are saving your energy for other topics.

Category B - I tried it in my MBBS Days but I got boggled about it and the topic always scares me.You need to ask your coaching guru to sit with you to help that topic .Beg , borrow or steal the brain of your friend to make those topics made easy for you.No guru , No friend who can make the topic easy for you , leave it , this is not the time to ruin your peace on those topic .

Category C - I never read this topic in MBBS Days

Two possibilities

it may be easy topic to master but you passed MBBS without need of it .

e.g:- Pediatric brain tumors.

it may be dry topic to master that never enthused you .

e.g:- Helmimthic drugs , Mechanism of action of the drugs.

What you did not love to do in the days when you had luxury of time cant be done when the days are counting. If these topics fall in Top 50 % of yield, dont ignore them. Call your coaching guru , to give you 10 common questions on each of those topics and just trust that the MCQ arise only from those 10 points .

Category D - This is a topic, if I read also, I forget it.

Here some funny personal mnemonics will help. If 100 topics are there like that, choose 30 % of those topics and try at the time where all your friends go for tea .

e. P450 inducers, inhibitors, Rate limiting enzymes, Drugs and adverse effects, Numeric value based subtopics etc.Don't strain too much.People fail exams not because of Memory loss ( I mean amnestic disorders ) but because of dissociative disorders ( I mean failing to apply good guess within the perview of facts in their mental database )

Category E - This topic consumes a lot of my time .Once more analysis of yield of a topic is power .If the topic is in below 50 % yield and demands more than 30 minutes to master , you need to refer so many books to get hold , leave it , it is a poor investment of time.

Category F These are the topics, I cant afford to miss since examiner will not excuse and competitors crush me under their feet if I ignore .70 % of your left over time need to be dedicated for these topics. They are the top 200 topics in the list of 627 topics that I gave that belong to Category F. Assume you have 20 days time left.

At most any Human can actively read for 10 hours per day , assuming these are the last 20 days , you will ever live upto the challenge .You have 200 hours ticking down . Step 1 : 70 % of 200 hours is 140 hours for 200 topics .

Category F These are the topics, I cant afford to miss since examiner will not excuse and competitors crush me under their feet if I ignore. Your required run rate - 3 topics every 2 hours of Category F.

Step 2 - Remaining 30 % of 200 hours is 60 hours for 100 more topics.20 hours Try 20 topics spending an hour on each of them

Category B - I tried it in my MBBS Days but I got boggled about it and the topic always scares me -1 topic every 1 hour of Category B. Your required run rate - 1 topics every 1 hour of Category B. 20 hours Try 40 topics spending half an hour on each of them

Category D - This is a topic, if I read also, I forget it. Your required run rate - 1 topics every half an hour of Category D.20 hours Try 40 topics spending half an hour on each of them.

Category C - I never read this topic in MBBS Days. Your required run rate - 1 topics every half an hour of Category C. Now your game plan is ready and what is needed is just discipline (only for 20 days) of execution. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.
