The program offered by the Obama administration called The Debt Relief for Citizens Program is proving to be very beneficial to many who are in financial trouble. As with the federal assistance to those who face foreclosure, this program is aimed at those who have insurmountable debts that they cannot handle anymore. All this grant money comes just in time for some who think they are losing the battle when it comes to their finances. Credit cards used to be beneficial to many but have become like poison to those who cannot handle the high rate of interest, over limit fees, and late fees. Shrinking pay checks, cut backs in hours, and even job loss has made it impossible for many average citizens to keep their heads above water when it comes to paying their bills each month. Unlike a loan from a financial institution, the grant money never need be paid back. Many have not yet heard of this grant program due to the fact it is not widely advertised.
