During the middle of a rainstorm is the wrong time to make sure everything is up to date on your vehicle

Windshield washer fluids also come in water resistant forms that help wick away water droplets - providing double protection during a heavy rain.

Coolants

Finally, with the upcoming summer months, make sure your vehicle is full of coolant fluids. Another cheap preventative method, coolants help keep your engine at preferable running temperatures, especially during the hotter months. If an engine becomes to hot it may manually shut down to prevent permanent damage, stranding its passengers until it cools. Be sure your car has been sitting for several hours before refilling, or your local mechanic can fill up your tank as well. When it comes to preventative measures, there's no easier way to help ensure the safety of you and your passengers.
