Finally, a potassium supplement is necessary in a low carb diet. This diet may cause you to get tired easily because of the loss of potassium due to heavy water drinking. Avoiding this problem requires you to take a potassium supplement for the first few weeks. Check with your doctor as this may conflict with any blood pressure medicine.
