Digital cameras heralded a new era for the home photographer. There were no longer the same limitations in picture taking that once existed. An ability to instantly see and delete photos meant that even the most novice photographer could take decent shots. Digital storage also meant that we were no longer limited to taking 24 or 36 pictures before having to change film and LCD displays and advanced, automated camera settings meant quality was further improved.
