Priyanka Chopra - Extremely Stunning Actress

Priyanka Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on July 18

, 1982. She was born to Ashok Chopra and Madhu Akhauri. Parents were both physicians by profession but Priyanka was destined to do something else. Chopra spent her childhood in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh; Newton, Massachusetts; Cedar Rapids, Lowa.

Father being a doctor in Indian Army, family used to change locations as per his postings. Priyanka has a sevenyear younger brother, Siddhartha. Priyanka attended Lucknow La Martiniere Girls School. She also studied in Newton South High School in Newton and then John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids.

When she came back to India, she did her High school at Army school in Bareilly. She wanted to become a software engineer or a criminal psychologist but ended up doing modeling. She began College in Jai Hind, Mumbai but quieted when she won Miss India World title and later on Miss World title in 2000.

In the same year Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza won Miss Universe and Miss Asia Pacific titles. In December 2009, Priyanka was present at Johannesburg, South Africa as one of the judges for Miss World 2009. Priyanka Chopra made her debut in the Tamil movie, THAMIZHAN (2002). She also sung playback for the song Ullathai Killadhey.

She appeared in her first bollywood movie, the Hero: love story of the spy (2003). She shared the screen with sunny deol and preity zinta. The film grossed really well. Chopra received lots of appreciations for her first hindi movie.

In The Same Year She Worked In Andaz (2003) And Won Filmfare Lady For Best Debut Award And Was Nominated In Filmfare For Best Actress In Supporting Role For Andaaz. She also won screen most promising newcomer female award for andaaz. Another release of the year was Miss india: the mystery (2003).

Chopra won Bengal Film Journalist Association Awards Best Actress Award for the film Aitraaz in 2004. Piggy Chops won POGO Award for the most Amazing Actress for KRRISH in 2007, Kelvinator gr8 Women Award: Contribution to Indian Cinema in 2007, Star Sabse Favorite Kaun Awards Sabse Tez Sitara, GIFA Awards Windows Live search and Movie talkies Most Searched Actress.

She won Zee Astitva Award for Contribution to India Cinema in 2008. 2009 was really a lucky one for her. She was among the 10 recipients of the IIFA FICCI Frames Awards for the Most Powerful Entertainer of the decade.

She won Neilson Box Office Award for the Outstanding Contribution to Asian Cinema, Lion Club Gold Awards Best Actress for Fashion, Golden Tridents Awards Best Actress for FASHION and Cosmopolitan Awards Best Actress again for the movie, FASHION.

She also won Shanghai International Film Festival Jin Jue Award, NDTV Profit Car & Bike Awards Brand Ambassador of the year. In 2010, she won NDTV Awards for Female Entertainer of the year. Priyanka was honored when she was declared as Style Diva 2006, and Sexiest Asian Women 2006.
