EFX Performance Congratulates Jamie Sterling After His Victorious Completion of the Second Annual Big Wave World Tour

LOS ANGELES [April, 2011] The second annual Big-Wave World Tour came to a close in late February with world famous big-wave surfer, Jamie Sterling taking first place, with more than 1,000 points separating Sterling and the second place competitor. EFX Performance team athlete Jamie Sterling will be officially crowned champion of the year-long tournament at a ceremony to be held in late April of this year.

"In a competition as grueling as this was, every advantage makes a huge difference," said Sterling. "Mental and physical shape play a huge part, and EFX helped me keep my edge."

Sterling, who was forced to sit out last year due to injury, used his undesired break to take notes on the world's best surfers as they surfed the world's biggest waves. The combination of Sterling's determination to get back into competition and his eagerness to implement the knowledge he'd acquired sitting out, helped lead to his quality performances.
