ProFlightSimulator is one of the most realist flight simulation games available. It is probably one of the best selling flight simulators today. Their purpose was to make this game as close to real life flying as you can get, and they succeded.

There is a huge selection of aircraft's to choose from. At the moment their is over 120 available. You can choose from propeler airplanes, helicopters, jets or airliners. Also over 20,000 real world airports are available to take off from or land at.

The scenery in ProFlightSimulator is amazing. . You can fly anywhere in the world including landmarks, neighborhoods or even your own house. With the interactive scenery designer you can design building, lakes, airports, mountains or just about pretty much anything that you can think of.

The terrian, planetary alignments and aircraft reactions are based on actual world data. Time on the game is based off of your system clock, so if you are flying in your neighborhood at night then it will be night time on the game. You can even see car headlights on major roadways.

Multiplayer is also an option, there are thousands of players online that you can fly with. Also ProFlight Simulator has real time integration with Google Maps that will show your location and other live players.

If you want the real flying experience ProFlightSimulator supports many types of controllers such as yokes, pedals, joysticks, throttles, etc. Multiple displays are also supported. You can have one monitor for the cockpit and another looking forward. It is possible to create verysophisticated simulationenvironments with this game.

ProFlightSimulator may see a little complicated at first. The hardest part is learning all of the controls. Having controllers such as joystick or yoke will make it a lot easier. Also there are tuturials and videos available in the members section.
