Thus the designing of product should be done keeping it outcome in consideration.

If, the product is not resistible then despite being attractive it would not survive in the market for a longer duration. Now the resistibility and the robustness of the product somehow depends upon the product development rather than product designing. Once, the product design is ready, the development team should strive to achieve the maximum durability in the product, that may can lead to some changes in the product design.

Sustainable development has become an important factor, with considerations such as using recycling materials, reducing waste in production, increasing energy efficiency, eliminating toxins and extending product life, which will enhance the designing of the product.

The designing of products have become very reliable and easy with the help of computer aided designing tools such as AutoCAD, Autodesk, and 3d Systems etc. Designing a product is a very complex task, so its more efficient when broken down into various phases such as Designing, Research, Barinstorming, Digital Prototype and Physical Prototype or there could be many other possibilities of defining the various phases of Product Designing.

The product development focuses on the value being delivered to the customer. Although the designers prepare the whole outcome of the product, but to make that product perform the assigned task is the job of the product developers. The Product design acts as the input for product development. Thus, the outcome of the product development is the combined effort of Product Design and Development.

The Product design acts as a Human Body and development is the soul that makes that body work. The quality of development acts as the main ingredient of the product because no matter how good and attractive the design is, if it is not developed perfectly, it will not survive in the market.
