Professions That Will Always Be Around

While many think that the job market is depressed these days

, in actuality, there are lots of jobs to be found if one is not choosey. Going back to the basics and finding jobs that have been around for some time will always be there. Here are some of the occupations that will always be around:

- Soldier. Defending one's country is a calling and for some, it is a vehicle for finding a means to pay for a college education. For others, it is an interim occupation while still young. Despite the boot camp or basic training, wherein one is meant to gel with fellow recruits, there are options for advancement based on how well you do in certain skill levels or areas. Others that do make a career of it can become non commission officers and after serving 20 or so years, can opt to retire and get a pension. Others take Officers Candidate Schools and become career officers. It has a future for those interested in this line of activity.

- Accountants. No matter what people say, there will always be room for more accountants. They are there to teach businessmen where to save their money and where to spend it. In some areas in Europe, they are needed more for their financial services as well. Accountants from bridgend are hired by businessmen for their good local acumen on certain tax laws for the county. As bridgend is poised to become the shopping center capital of the United Kingdom, accountants are in demand in this area.

- Lawyers. Our world runs by the rule of law and whether we like it or not, we need these people to help negotiate our contracts, protect our rights, and sometimes, keep us out of jail. Though they are the butt of a lot of demeaning jokes, their presence assures us a civility and legitimacy in our dealings with matters that affect us.

- Doctors. We, as a species, have the inherent need to survive and this occupation in the strongest of terms, help us achieve this goal. Not just the medical practitioners but also researchers and psychiatrists are needed by our society more than ever.

- Builders. As part of our need to survive, we need to be protected by the elements and builders, be it architects, contractors, masons and carpenters are necessary occupations. These days, they are needed more than ever with the limited space and the growing populations present, they find solutions to keeping us safe and housed.
