Professor Keene and Mr. Ni
This is the story of professor Keene and his assistant, Mr. Ni, and their marvelous invention. Professor Marcus L. Keene was a nutritionist working with the local feed mill, formulating nutritious grains and minerals for the farmers throughout the state of Wisconsin. He worked long hours, sometimes deep into the night to come up with supplements that would satisfy the needs of the dairy and beef industry. He found several combinations that would work wonderfully, but none of them would completely fulfill the requirements asked of the farmers.
Professor Keene then read an article in a world farming magazine about oriental herbs that had an astounding effect on the cattle industry in China, so he made a call to Chiang Wu Ni to ask his assistance. Mr. Ni promptly flew to Wisconsin to assist, and this is what happened. Mr. Ni applied his herbal knowledge to professor Keene's already potent supplements, and as expected, the results were amazing. Milk production increased by 300 percent, and beef cattle were growing 50 percent larger with little or no extra fat. The best part, the entire concoction was purely organic.
Needless to say, the local farmers were impressed, and professor Keene and Mr. Ni prospered. Finally, a low cost supplement that farmers could afford, with better than expected results. They thought long and hard as to what to call their new invention, and after emptying the waste can several times, they finally came up with the name Kini, a spin off of Keene and Ni. Kini did so well, that professor Keene and Mr. Ni decided to try different variations for other animals. The city zoo was only a mile down the road, so they searched for a supplement that would strengthen the animals' immune systems to endure the harsh winter, saving transportation and housing costs. They altered their formula slightly, and now the tigers, giraffes, and gorillas no longer had to be moved to Los Angeles for the winter, saving the zoo millions. Of course, the good professor and his assistant thought what to call this new variation, and they came up with zoo-kini.
Then one morning at breakfast while going over the newest formula, The Mr. Ni stared at the honey jar on the biscuit plate, and wondered if they could apply their supplement to the honey business, so they researched and once again altered the formula, and wouldn't you know it? Honey production nearly doubled in the first month. And of course, once again the debate over what to call this variation, so the name bee-kini was born, and now bee-kini honey is covering biscuits everywhere.
