, talvirengas) is very recommendable in tests. The new Nokian WR D3 winter tyre got the best statements in the winter tyre tests of 2011 of the German car magazines Auto Motor und Sport and also Auto Zeitung.

The Magazine Auto Motor und Sport praised its tests results on snow, based on the shortest braking distance, fastest handling time, and strongest traction on snow. The Nokian tyre got 100 points of a possible score of 100 in this.

From the snow test of the Auto Zeitung magazine, the new Nokian tyre scored 142 of a possible score of 150. The magazine wrote Outstanding properties on snow characterize the Nokian WR D3, and praised its neutral and enormous grip and dry braking. Shortest braking distance, fastest handling lap time, best traction on snow among all tested tyres and fastest handling lap time in the dry prove its qualities. The second lowest rolling resistance and for this reason second lowest fuel consumption as well as second lowest road noise show its Eco friendliness.

The new tyre from Nokian Tyres was estimated as the best tyre on snow, but also on dry. The dry driving features were also considered good, the driving behaviour in the dry specially. It is important that winter tyres can handle the changing conditions of winter weather conditions of Central Europe. Usually the winter tyre can be good at something, but perform not so well in every test category. The tyre that is strong in each category tested is the most reliable for roads of Central Europe.

The Nokian WR D3 is tailored for medium-sized and small family cars and drivers who value safe, economic driving. Tyres are available in sizes from 13 to 20, speed ratings ranging from T to W (190 270 km/h). These new winter products aimed particularly at the Central European markets are from now on available for retail.
