Proper Exercise Can Beat The Silent Enemy - Sedentary Living
It is estimated that six out of ten adults do not get enough proper exercise
. This means that they are not getting enough muscle building and maintaining activity. The human body needs this muscular movement to keep itself healthy as this is how a very special 'growth and repair' hormone is stimulated. Without this 'fitness' hormone the human body is set on a path of decay and degeneration.
It is easy to tell if you are suffering from lack of exercise - are your muscles weak and flabby, are you overweight, is your resting heart rate rapid, do you feel tired a lot, lack energy and 'get up and go' and do you feel unmotivated for life in general?
These are just some of the visible signs of a sedentary lifestyle; the invisible signs are the dangerous ones. Things that are happening on the inside like loss of muscle tissue, loss of bone density, a slowing of the metabolism (the body's engine), a decline in cardiovascular (heart/lung) function, immune system decline and unhealthy blood levels of sugars and fats that are hanging around causing damage to organs and tissue are just the tip of the iceberg.
This is serious stuff and is caused by not enough proper exercise. Why would anyone want to go down this path? Is it not easier to simply do a proper exercise program 2-3 times a week and improve your life in a hundred different ways?
You cannot live a life of quality with a body that is aging at a premature and accelerated rate, it is just not possible. You can only have a reduced experience if you are lucky and if you are unlucky you will get a nasty disease that could well cut your life short. Let us go over the reason again. The human body cannot stay healthy without proper exercise that stimulates the necessary hormones that renew, repair, replace and rebuild.
Are you aware there is a natural and relatively easy way to increase your levels of this very special hormone? It is called strength training exercise and it works by stimulating your muscles to produce it regardless of age. No surprise that recreational activities like walking, jogging, swimming or cycling do not do much to stimulate this hormone.

But how easy is that, to go along to your local gym or fitness center a couple of times a week to keep you in a good state of physical health? Surely a much better option than a life lived without energy, vitality and strength to pack as much as possible into each day.
You have a choice here and you now know what you need to do to get out from under that 50 percent increased risk of a shortened life from lack of activity. Think of it as a gift to those that love you as they will want you to be around to enjoy a long healthy life.
