In many western countries, the profession of a doctor is well-paid. Doctors have a lot of different bonuses and privileges.

Teaching other people. Good doctors are always ready to share their experience and skills with others, that is why it is one of the noblest professions in the world.

Cons

Stress. This is, probably, one of the most significant cons of this profession. During their practice doctors face different problems, caused by diseases of their patients. That is why doctors must work very hard and it leads to great psychological tension.

Long hours of work. In medicine there are cases of extremely complicated diseases that require additional time and strengths. Sometimes doctors have to work overtime, staying in the hospital for all night.

Long period of education. Medicine is a science that requires a lot of time to master it appropriately. That is why students have to study for the longest periods of time to become good experts in medicine.
