Diploma

A wide range of diplomas allow you to choose a direction in your career which you are most interested in. Their main advantage is that you can develop special skills without writing a thesis, and the level of work is that you can do it in your spare time. Besides, it doesn't demand to spend a fortune. On the other hand, though a diploma proves that one worked to study a subject, it will hardly score you many points.

Master's degree

It is a level higher than a diploma and, moreover, some diplomas can be converted into master's degree. Studies contain taught courses and a period of research. Comparing with a diploma, a master's degree means a deeper understanding of a subject and at least one publication. It can be achieved, however, at the expense of a full-time job and a substantial sum of money.

MD and PhD

They contain no taught courses and consist only of a research. Therefore, they provide students with more merits than the previous ones. The degrees give a student as employee maximum points as they show the high level of competence in a particular subject. Mind you, they take a lot of time and may cause loss of practical skills.

Whatever you choose, weigh up all the evidence. Anyway, postgraduate education is something worth getting.
