However careful you are to ensure that your customers are fully conversant with the correct wash and care instructions for their garments, you can almost guarantee that some will not have listened! That's where Colour Print Protect can help. This is a special film which has been developed and can be applied to some of Target Transfers Printable Media, printed with eco-solvent inks, to protect them from abrasion and discolouration.

Colour Print Protect can be safely used with Colour Print Classic, Colour Print Extra and Colour Print Quick materials. It is very easy to use. The digital print produced on one of the materials mentioned should be applied in the usual way, and hot peel the print once applied. Overlay the Colour Print Protect film onto the print, with the paper backing facing upwards. You heat apply following the correct instructions for each individual material, and then remove the backing paper and cold peel only. If a glossy finish is required, simply heat press again covering the print with a silicone cover sheet!

Once the Colour Print Protect has covered the print, it can be washed up to 40C on Extra, up to 60C on Quick, and an astonishing 90C on Classic! As with most garment decorations, when being washed, bleach (or other aggressive agents) should not be used.
