Provost Academy Puts A High School Diploma Within Reach

For the first 2 years of my career as a public relations consultant I carried a burdensome secret around with me I never graduated high school

. I started working at the age of fifteen, creating and passing out fliers for local businesses. At the age of sixteen, one of these companies offered me a full time position. The pay was a lot of money for a high school kid, so I jumped at the chance to start earning a full-time wage. Like many, I figured night school would be easy to attend and a way to graduate on time. I kept this up for awhile until working days and attending school at night become just too much of a time commitment. Two semesters away from graduation I became a high-school drop out.

Honestly, I was one of the lucky ones. My work experience, personal drive, and contacts in the city enabled me to climb the professional ladder in spite of being so young and never graduating high school. Thankfully these were handshake offers based on my experience and ability because if I went through the usual application process I would not have passed. For the next few years I did well at work, but even though I was successful in my industry at the age of 20 I always felt that something was missing. That something was, of course, my high school education.

Working at home late one night I took a YouTube break to combat the monotony. This is when I stumbled across a video by a Provost Academy graduate. Despite all my success for my age, I found myself incredibility jealous of the young lady in the testimonial. She had what I didnt a high school diploma. This led to me visiting the Provost website where I realized I was not alone and this is something I could correct. I enrolled that night.

Getting my high school education online with Provost was fun, educational, and something I will treasure forever. The lesson plans were interesting and the schedule was flexible, but what was the most helpful to me were the personal relationships I formed with my professors. I received individual attention from people who actually cared about my success. I was very impressed with the technology as well; it made the curriculum fun and engaging. If you are under 21 and havent graduated from high school I really recommend their program. I made the age cut-off of just time, but wish I had started sooner.
