. PRS Guitars are one such business. Paul Reed Smith, proprietor and designer of PRS Guitars, finished his first guitar while he was a pupil at St. Marys School in Maryland. Like Santana, McCarty also knew that Paul reed smith had talent and took him under his wing. Both collaborated and innovated a series of guitars together. These guitars are actually included in the PRS Guitars line.

Perhaps this was attributable to McCarty's alliance with Smith that in the end resulted in the conflict. But, Gibson sued PRS Guitars over their Singlecut electric guitars, that they argued were significantly similar to the Gibson Guitars Les Paul design. Finally Gibson Guitars lost the case, however PRS guitars could not make the guitars while the courtroom case proceeding. However the case was resolved in Smith and McCarty's PRS guitars favor.

PRS Guitars have a list of current stock models and private stock of PRS guitars which are all included on their official website. There are the Singlecut PRS guitars that were previously discussed, the PRS guitar SE Series which is a lower end model and barely inexpensive, the PRS SE Torero, 513 Rosewood, and the Santana SE Electric guitar. I love the way this guitar looks. I've wanted a quilt finish guitar, however the actual spec would've taken three-four months on a special order and cost heaps more, so I got this one, and have not regretted it for a minute.
