Prs - Paul Reed Smith Electric Guitars

Listed here are a number of guitar corporations that are well-known for their high quality and their record of celebrity guitarists

. PRS Guitars are one such business. Paul Reed Smith, proprietor and designer of PRS Guitars, finished his first guitar while he was a pupil at St. Marys School in Maryland. He continued to construct electric guitars after college and after he completed one, he would bring it to concert events and convince the guitarists to sample them out and give him feedback.

Paul Reed Smith finally met Carlos Santana. The top result of this meeting was that Santana ended up demoing out his electric guitars. (He tried three total.) Santana was inspired, and this ultimately changed the route of Paul Reed Smith's life. Santana put Smith in contact with a man named Ted McCarty, who finally became his mentor.

Ted McCarty is a veteran of the electric guitar production. He was the president of Gibson Guitars for a number of years and he shaped the Gibson ES-335, Flying V, and the Gibson Explorer guitars. Like Santana, McCarty also knew that Paul reed smith had talent and took him under his wing. Both collaborated and innovated a series of guitars together. These guitars are actually included in the PRS Guitars line.

Perhaps this was attributable to McCarty's alliance with Smith that in the end resulted in the conflict. But, Gibson sued PRS Guitars over their Singlecut electric guitars, that they argued were significantly similar to the Gibson Guitars Les Paul design. Finally Gibson Guitars lost the case, however PRS guitars could not make the guitars while the courtroom case proceeding. However the case was resolved in Smith and McCarty's PRS guitars favor.

PRS Guitars have a list of current stock models and private stock of PRS guitars which are all included on their official website. There are the Singlecut PRS guitars that were previously discussed, the PRS guitar SE Series which is a lower end model and barely inexpensive, the PRS SE Torero, 513 Rosewood, and the Santana SE Electric guitar. However, these are just some illustrations of the intensive list provided on the web site.

Here's what one person has to say about their PRS Guitar:

Concerning the PRS guitars Custom 20th Anniversary

I love the way this guitar looks. I've wanted a quilt finish guitar, however the actual spec would've taken three-four months on a special order and cost heaps more, so I got this one, and have not regretted it for a minute. Tremendous full sounds - as soon as I got it to the very first practice, everyone in the group can tell the difference (had previously been playing US Standard Stratocaster and Les Paul Custom). Lighter tone than the Les Paul, yet so versatile. The sound control is useable and the choice between single/double wound pickups makes a real variation. Amazing.
