There are many good psychics!

Psychics often have a bad reputation of being scam artists and charlatans. However, there are many legitimate gifted psychics that do professional psychic readings. The first step is determining why you need a psychic and what type to look for.

Why do you need the services of a psychic?

What type of psychic do you need?

Are you looking to contact a dead relative? If so, you would search for psychic mediums. Do you have a love problem? If so, you would look for a love psychic. Do you just want to know what your future holds? Then you would just look for a general psychic reading.

User Rating System.

I think this is the best way to find a good psychic, if you do not have any referrals from friends. When you are looking at user ratings look to see if they have "repeat" clients. This is often a very good sign, as you don't go back to a psychic that nothing happens they said!

What form do you want the reading to take (in person, by phone, or by online chat)?

I do psychic readings all three ways. In person, by phone, and by psychic online chat.

In person psychic readings, are the most popular, due to the general misconception that you have to be with a person to pick up their energy. This is actually not true.

In person readings actually have many disadvantages for a genuine psychic. When a psychic sees a person his or her subconscious mind automatically stereotypes them (age, class, race, etc), this limits the psychics intuitive freedom and objectivity. We don't mean to do this but it does definitely happen, it is how the mind works.

What should you tell the psychic when you come for a reading?

Name and DOB, if you are able give pictures and objects of the people involved. Genuine psychics really don't want to know anything! Anything you tell us only limits our objectivity. I get so many clients that want to give me a detailed history of their lives and then expect me to do a reading for them. A real psychic wants as little information as possible; otherwise we lose our objectivity and will become intellectually biased.

Come to a psychic with an open mind and heart.

It is very important not to judge a psychic reading based on your belief or the current appearances. Many clients are in the "mental box." They will consider the psychic as "bad" simply because it is either not what they want to hear or looking at the appearances (current and past) it seems impossible to them. This is a cognitive distortion. It is kind of like trading stocks based on yesterday's newspapers. It is insane really

Do psychics just tell you what you want to hear?

Well I don't know about other psychics, but make my money off of repeat business. So, I do not have a motive to tell people what they want to hear. I am confident other professional psychics are also the same way.

Should you go to a psychic when you are in intense emotional states?

No! This is the most common mistake that clients make. Emotions produce strong vibrations and many times the psychic will mistake the client's hopes and fears as what is going to happen. It is best to take a sea salt bath and be in a relaxed state of mind before coming to a psychic.

Do honest psychics see the calendar?

We can see what is going to happen and generally the ball park of when. Rarely can we see exact dates. In fact, this is a red flag to look for if a psychic tells you they can.

Dial a curse?

To know is to avert. Good psychics will tell someone, in a skillful proactive way, of something negative is on the horizon. If you know it is going to rain you just bring an umbrella and you are not effected.

The future is not set in stone, you have the power to change things that you know ahead of time. That is the value of a good psychic really. If everything was set in stone, going to a psychic would be pointless.

Now I know there are some unscrupulous psychics that will tell you awful things. They do this normally for either of two reasons: 1. to extort money from you to take off curses. 2. They work on fear. They realize the creative power of suggestion. They tell you awful things, then they happen. Then you think wow they were right, when in reality that would not have happened if you had not charged with fear their prediction thus creating it.

What are you feeling when you get a reading?

Do you get a feeling of uplift? It doesn't matter what a psychic tells you actually. When you are consulting a spiritual person you will feel uplifted. Their vibrations are very healing.

Madame, Mother, Sister, Rev?

These psychics are normally what we like to call "gypsy psychics" in the field. These are generally the ones that will extort you for large sums of money to take curses off that do not exist. They will tell you they do their work in the church. This is ludicrous! Traditional religion does not believe in psychics, for the most part, much less allowing someone to do rituals in their church.

Many times they advertise with headlines "free readings," "immediate results," ect...

Bad ratings on other sites?

Do not be fooled! The psychic field has become extremely competitive. Many unscrupulous psychics are now posting bad reviews on other sites to black list their competitors. Many times it costs the psychic thousands of dollars to actually sue the company to remove completely false statements. The only outside review system I would trust and recommend is the Better Business Bureau; because, you have to give your name and present evidence of your identity and transaction.
