This is known as the CTR (click through rate) which is something that the websites hopes will pay for the investment they spend on the marketing. But when it comes to the PTC website where you see this website they obviously have no intention of paying you for clicking on the website otherwise they will lose money.

But these PTC websites are well set up in order to scam you as they will tell you that they have paid out over $2 million since they started and will more than likely show you a figure that will look something like this $2 876 233 which is just something the webmaster made up.

What these websites have been doing for years is staying online for about six months and then when their domain hosting expires they simply set up another one somewhere else. When you have reached the $5000 that you need to have before you can claim your money they are simply not there and cannot be found anywhere online.

The worst is that they will offer you only 5 websites that you can click on each day until you upgrade. They will tell you that when you upgrade for $120 you will be able to click on as many as 40 websites a day which means $400 if they are paying you $10 a click. One needs to be very weary of these websites and simply workout for yourself how they are making money.

But if you think that there is no easy way to make money online without spending money on expensive advertising then you should know that there are a few PTC websites online that are actually real. These are things that are no well controlled by the authorities that monitor scams on the Internet but hopefully this will change in time.

A big advantage on the Internet is something like PayPal where one has the choice of deciding whether the product you paid for is worth it. They will give you as long as 45 days before you are settled which means that when you pay for something you have 45 days in which you can ask for a refund.
