Ensure that your research content exceeds the content included within your prepared speech. Adopt effective jokes and include your own experiences within your speech so as to engage the audience.
2.Have sufficient preparation before the actual speech delivery. Deliver your speech as many times as possible aloud in front of a mirror. Notice your body language as well as how you sound when you deliver your speech content. Make suitable adjustments as you go along.
3.Be familiar with the actual speech environment. Awareness of the actual environment will allow you to plan your body language to suit the environment. Generally, huge hand gestures are only used in auditorium with hundreds of seats.
