I have a couple of clients who are working with me to publish a newsletter. They are both in medical professions which makes sense for wanting something to give to their patients on a long term basis. It also provides a great cost benefit ratio for time, money and effort. An ezine has enough space to help you They are a great place to clarify who you are, what you do, when you do it and why you do what you do. They also explain how others can get involved with you.

There are so many options available now to market what are your services and products. Interesting, many business owners are avoiding email marketing because it no longer has the glamour appeal. I am convinced, however, that email marketing is the basis for all your marketing because it is usually the first personal contact you have with a prospective client.

Distributing your ezine is a simple way to stay in tough with potential and former clients. It is another way to get your name out there so that people think of you as a resource when they need your services.

You may be a dentist, a handyman, own a cleaners or just starting a business as a business coach, an ezine is an excellent medium to show how much you know and how much you care about your clients and intended clients. Here are 7 reasons to publish an ezine

Establish credibility as the expert in your field. You are the leader because you let your mailing list know about the latest business trends or new products or government restrictions in your business niche.

Build customer and client relationships. By providing quality content and good information you establish trust and credibility with your mailing list. Your ezine is an approach you can use to teach and to share interesting information.

Drive traffic to your web site. When you post your ezines on your web site, you increase the chances of search engines finding you because you have more content and more key words.

Stay in touch with current and former clients and cultivate new clients. You may use an auto responder or list your events on Facebook but you also need to send information directly to your list and keep sending that information.

Create joint ventures with other programs, coaches and program leaders that may interest your readers. You can offer solutions to your readers problems that you do not provide yourself. You become the Go To person when your clients are seeking advice. You can also earn an income by becoming an affiliate to some of those products and services and earning a commission.

Branding Your Presence with your name and logo. Another place for your tagline, meta tags, and links to social networking to be found and clicked on by others. Sell your services and information products. Your ezine can be the place where your prospective clients become clients and customers because they clicked on a link and purchased one of your products, or enrolled in a course you are teaching.

With the slowing of the economy, there could not be a better time to help others and share with them what you know to help their businesses expand.
