The result of crossing a pug and a beagle is puggle, a moderated sized dog that are considered as good family pets. They bear both the characteristics of their parents. They have the playful qualities and docile lap of the pug and similarly, the abundance of energy and hunting instincts of the beagle as well. They are very friendly in nature and easily get along with other pets and children. Puggle training is an easy task if you follow these simple steps:

Step 1. Start the training as early as possible and make a routine for everything. Feed him on schedule, give him enough exercise, play with him and spend as much as time with him. This kind of activity will make your training easier than it seems.

Step 2. Potty training your puggle can be accomplished with the help of crates. Strictly supervise and confine him inside the crate. When he becomes familiar with crate, he will think it as his den and won't mess up at that place. So, each time he wants to go potty, he will try to come out of it or whine and scratch to tell you that he wants to go potty.

Step 3. Exercise is important for your puggle as his high energy can be the cause for destruction. So, involve him in regular exercise in exiting and funny way. For this, you can involve him in activities like flyball, freestyle, etc. You can also take your puggle to social places to make him familiar with other pets and peoples.

Step 4. Reward based approach is the best way to accomplish puggle training because rewards can encourage and motivate him to focus in the training. For rewards, you can use his favorite snacks, toys or any kind of pet foods.

Step 5. Don't keep your puggle alone for longer periods because it can grow undesirable behaviors in him. He longs for the human company and develops as a good pet when you accompany him and train him with gentle and positive methods. So, don't make him panic for company. Give him enough time and let him develop as a good family pet.
