Put the Power in Your Relationship No Sex Please

Do you think it's ridiculous to keep sex out of a relationship? Do you know for a fact that sex is what men want and you're ready to give it no matter what? Has it become the cool thing to do and you don't want to be the prude who holds back? As ridiculously chaste as we used to be decades ago, we've now gone to the complete extreme and rarely think twice about handing over our goodies to the guy who barely deserves it. And all the while, few women realize what they are really telling the men out there.

Men tend to have a particular view of women who are a little too easy with their sexuality. You might think that this is a bit unfair; after all, a smart, ambitious and worldly woman can enjoy sex too, right? Yes you can, but when you have sex with a man you don't even know, you're not really giving him a desire to learn more about you.

You're probably worried that if you don't give into his desire to have sex with you, he won't call you again. Honestly, there is a good chance that's exactly what he'll do if sex was the only thing on his mind. But you need to trust that the guy who is really looking to get to know a girl isn't even going to mention sex.

So hold back and don't make your encounter with him all about your sexuality. Avoid any erotic talk, sexy innuendo or provocative suggestions. You don't want to give him the impression that sex is the only thing you have going for you. You want him to see that you're intelligent and fun to be with.

Try just setting out to date a guy and keeping the sex aspect of the relationship for later on. Work to create a friendship that can slowly bring you closer together. When sex isn't a part of a relationship, you guys can concentrate of building a great bond that will last a lot longer than sex.
