The flashy banner ads that many affiliate website sites are full of are not the primary reason why people click, it's the plain old text link that works the vast majority of the time. When you have an article written and placed on your website about the product or service that you are promoting, place plain text links within the content and you will find that interested readers will click on it for even more information. Of course, your links and your product have to be in proper harmony with each other, there is no point in writing about dog training to link through to cat collars! No sales will be made that way!
