A family of pocket sized light-weight devices with the objective to make it simple for the consumers to enjoy the preferred video entertainment content whether TV, videos or music through handheld iconic devices "anywhere", "anytime" and "media independent". Furthermore enriching the customer value proposition navigation capabilities are added through the embedded GPS (Global Positioning System), driver assisted services like Emergency, Tow truck, Yellow pages and Point of Interests calls and finally access to LBTVS (LocationBased TV Services) features.

The "VideoTouch" family features a context sensitive automatic switching capability from "Landscape view" to "Portrait view"; just flip the device and the icons based graphical user interface will guide you through the position and context sensitive applications:

"Landscape view":mobileTV and media (audio and video) player for the "entertainment position";

"Portrait view": GPS navigation and your personal drive assistant for the "car-assist position";

Easy of use through the gesture operated touch screen GUI (Graphical User Interface) adds the power of touch for easy surfing across the various applications.

One push button only: for power-on, power-off : all the rest at your finger tips.

No external antennas, but the smartest built-in innovative design providing the best sensitivity in themarketfor in-door and out-door reception.

The "connected" Convergence Device providing mobile TV, location based TV and interactive services through the broadband HDSPA returnchannelconnectivity with a powerful browser enabling access to the Mobile Network Operators portal; available in the following flavour:

* OMA B-CAST (DRM and SCP profiles)

* HSDPA backhaul

The set of three DVB-H-connected portable devices from Quantum have no available pricing yet. Pricing is a crucial determinant of thesuccessof Quantum in the PMP/ PND market but as it is the company offers portable TV on a basic PMP, though it boasts a killer PAY-TV app, a Sat Nav-enabled PMP and a do-it-all PMP that has 3G connectivity added. Quantum adds a slight twist in its devices using the landscape view for portable entertainment and the portrait view for navigation. It's a little odd but that's what Quantum is giving us.
