A business may be able to sue the state of Texas and its attorney general. However, one may not be able to say surely whether the business may win the lawsuit against either entity. She may explain to the court that she was not involved in the matter 10 years ago and that it would not be fair to seize her accounts for the same. Though the court may sometimes agree to leave out a part of the account that may belong to her, if anything has her husbands name on it, it may still be used.
