I love Christmas and making Christmas Crafts to give to my friends and family at Christmas. If you are like me this an all year hobby.
I usually start early in the year looking for crafting supplies on Craigslist or kijjii. This is usually the time that fellow crafters start getting rid of some of their project left overs.
Some of my best finds have been at garage sales in the early spring.
I have also noticed that a lot of the resale stores now have an all year section where they sell Christmas craft materials all year long.
The Dollar Store is also a great place to buy inexpensive supplies.
My last great find was at a re-store that usually sold building materials only. So keep you eyes open and you may find some real treasures.
Every year in August one of my sisters visits from the west coast and we usually spend a couple days cruising the craft stores getting ideas for Christmas Crafts. I am always looking for something that is different, easy to make and that looks great too.
