I bought this in February, to begin to think that there will be rough or uncomfortable or are not as bad as people make it out to be. Proved to be a bit of both.
Good:
work much faster on my computer before. Reports run faster, rates, load faster, much quicker search capabilities.
The general feeling is the same and some small improvements in security, and transactions that are stable in an accident
the slightest pressure on the button in Vista as before.
Bad:
should pay for the annexation email. We usually save my PDF and then email as an attachment in all cases - gives me more control over what will be sent or not sent, when I checked my email in Thunderbird logs.
more pop-ups. Many do-dads "for those who prefer non-fathers.
The Ugly:
After I upgrade to QuickBooks 2010, all was well until a few weeks later when the error occurred. After six renew seemed to work again and verify all information.
Then, today, suppliers are paid, I saw that all my accounts 1/4th of my suppliers is missing. All of them. Nearly four years worth of accounting.
I panicked.
After going through all the accounts I found that the files are still there, but the seller in connection with the account or the payment had all disappeared.
Type headless operations. Certainly, all stocks / BB / R is good. Just that if I ever tested, it will be
questions about the unknown suppliers invoices and payments.
My advice: Balancing the books for a year this year and then start from the beginning January 1 for all new upgrades from QuickBooks .... or hope for the best. I am strong enough to "hope" for now.

I read some negative reviews about this product, but I bought the product, was able to easily upgrade from Quickbooks Simple Start & am using the product without any troubles.
It helps to have someone else knowledgable with Quickbooks to learn how to perform certain tasks, but most of the general accounting, tracking tasks, etc. are functioning fine.
I have an accountant who is trained in Quickbooks & helps me when I have any questions. I refused to pay the extra money for the technical support. I'm sure that could get costly & haven't had to deal with their technical support on the product. I can see how intuit may try to make extra money with this technical support they try to sell with the product registration.

I have had many years of experience with more "sophisticated products" but this purchase was certainly a good investment for both control of my personal finances as well as the means of making a living - helping others control their income and expenditures. I now do bookkeeping for a living.

Good value
As a small business owner who uses the tax-table update service provided by intuit I *have* to upgrade, whether I really want to or not.
The price was my final determining factor. This gave me a new fully-licensed product much cheaper than Intuit offers on their website. I even called them trying to get a better price, and they refused.
Therefore I will continue to to use Amazon.com as a legal means of getting lower priced software.
No complaints in service or quality.
