A child suffering from an attachment disorder often remains sad and withdrawn. He cannot express joy and can never ask for any kind of assistance. He is uninterested in playing games or playing with toys. He avoids the person who tries to pamper him or provide him comfort. Not taking part in any social interaction, he prefers staying alone. It is found that such children are more likely to incur an Oppositional defiant disorderas well. When they reach the stage of early adolescence, they showcase an aggressive behavior and misbehave with people. They disobey parents, elders or teachers and oftentimes argue with them. With a negative approach towards family, friends or society, they cannot sustain relationships. Like RAD treatment, a special ODD treatment is recommended for them.
