Easy recipe for making Paneer Butter Masala

Paneer Butter Masala: is a very famous North Indian dish. It tastes very rich and delicious. It is one of the much preferred and liked Indian recipes. Usually the most ordered' dish in any Indian restaurant. We'd like to share with you the recipe of making this all time favorite dish

Ingredients you need for making Paneer Butter Masala:

250 gm Paneer

2tbsp Butter

1 Cinnamon stick

3-4 Cloves

2 Onions

3 tbsp Tomato puree

1 tsp Ginger garlic paste

2 tbsp Chili powder

1 tsp Coriander powder

1 tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp Garam masala

2 tbsp Cashew nut paste

1 Cup Fresh cream

Fresh Coriander

To make Paneer Butter Masala:

Grind cinnamon and cloves to fine powder. Keep it aside.

Cut Paneer in cubes. Heat a pan, add butter to it and fry the paneer cubes till golden brown. Soak them in warm water so that they become soft.

Blanch the onions and make puree out of it. Heat butter in a pan and add the onion puree. Saut till it turns light brown in color.

Add Ginger-Garlic Paste to the brown paste mixture and saut for 2-3 minutes till the raw smell disappears.

Then add the chili powder, coriander powder, cashewnut paste, tomato puree, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt and saut for sometime.

Add to it the cinnamon and clove powder.

Add the soaked paneer cubes, little water and allow it to cook till the gravy becomes semi-solid.

Finally garnish it with grated paneer, fresh cream and fresh green coriander.

You can serve Paneer Butter Masala with Paratha or Jeera Rice.
