Racism is still alive in America, and we must fight Against Racism

"I think there is still Racism out there but we ignore them because we just don't want to admit it. America is home to a myriad of nationalities religions, and races. Although diversity is rich in the U.S, it is the country that Racism occurs on a daily basis for all minorities. Nowadays, the Racism is strongly targeting three different kinds of people and they are Gays and all Minorities, but especially Hispanics and Muslims. The one I want to concentrate on is Islam because it's really ridiculous and unnecessary to be Racism against them. Islam is not a race but a religion and consists of Blacks, Arabs, Indians, Asians, Europeans, and even Hispanics. Just because there is a group of radical Muslims called Al-Qaeda that attacked America on the twin towers does not mean we should assume that all Muslims are evil or have terroristic intent. A group of people can't represent the billions of Muslims that are in the world. Islam is a religion of peace and people of Islam take Religion serious because that's their life, as a general idea with exceptions of course. We should learn our lesson as we look back of how ignorant America was in the past since we drove the Native Americans out of their own land, made African Americans slaves for 400 years, and assuming Japanese that they are spies during World War 2. Now that we look back, things could have been better for all races in America, but Racism is to blame for most of America's problems, be they economic, political, or social. I regret that we are going back to our old racism and paranoid ways of "assuming without enough information" and if we look back at this in 50 years, we would realize how silly and ignorant the racism towards Muslims in America really was."
