Radio Controlled Toys
Are you looking to buy a Radio Controlled Cars? There are unlimited options out there you really have to think exactly what you want out of your model and how much you are willing to pay for it.
The car itself has unlimited options like how to build it paint it style it etc but when it comes to powering it there are only a few options,
Using a battery pack which is lighter than the other two options and good for beginners but is slowest of all options, however as it is lighter and slightly slower it tends to have better handling than the rest. These
RC Toys are found widely in toy shops as they are popular are safer for children
Gas Powered is the more recognised option for hobbyists as this option is one of the faster ways to power your car although as the parts are a lot heavier than the Battery powered cars they tend to be slower and slightly harder to handle, but give you and spectators a bit more excitement as this type of car is run on gas it makes more noise therefore adds to the whole atmosphere. These cars are a bit more of a speciality so more than likely you will have to go to a more specialised shop to buy these.
The most popular option for serious hobbyists has to be
Nitro Radio Controlled Cars; these have small combustible engines that run on substances like nitro methane, methanol and also some oils. These are the most customisable of all the options as you can build it for durability that will overcome jumps at high speed or built just to reach the highest of speeds, again as with the Gas powered cars the parts as heavier than Battery powered so maybe not as responsive but an up side is they are easier to remove the electric motor if you wish during races. Nitro Radio Controlled Cars also have other advantages it can also support MP3 player and various other audio and video apparatus so if you want something that really stands out from the rest why not have a good look into them?
Being able to remove the motor easily is important as different races could call for something slightly different or if there is a problem with the one currently in it, most serious hobbyists will normally accumulate a few engines over the years and know which ones will suit a particular track, but don't be put off if you have only have one engine, certain hobby stores will allow you to test-drive a few of their cars you can get a feel for them but don't be shy to ask other RC Model owners what sort of engine they prefer.
