This is probably the way that some institutions will go when the price of such systems becomes affordable. Indeed, direct satellite links like this might be the way in which whole planet may go when millions of people wish to connect to the internet wherever they happen to be. Make the computer pocket sized, and you are getting very near to permanent connection from anywhere in the world, with all the implications that such a service might bring the future does look very exciting indeed.
