This will help keep it from sinking if it ever experiences a crash, and help you while getting your helicopter to land. However, note that floats can be very unstable and slippery on the snow, and if you have no wish to use them but you also dont want to sink, then bring a carpet of a piece of cardboard or wood, to use as a landing area for your helicopter.

For most part, flying during the winter is almost as same as flying during the summer, except for the differences in temperature. However, some tuning is still required if you are to successfully fly your helicopter during the winter.
