We all know the feeling of being super hyped and pumped up about something and then feeling how our motivation slightly crumbles as time passes and it becomes harder and harder to perform the necessary tasks. This is probably one of the biggest obstacles when it comes to reaching our goals in life and if we don't take action it is never possible to get any closer to our dreams.
This phenomenon is often referred to as procrastination and it has been called the big killer of dreams. The worst thing in life is to reach your death bed and think back about all the things you wished you would have done instead of wasting your time. The funny thing is that deep down inside we know that we are wasting our times when doing so and we get this nagging feeling, however most people choose to ignore this feeling and stay in denial. The first thing you need to do is to understand that your body is always trying to tell you things with the different types of emotions it generates and that when you have a nagging and painful feeling, it is simply because you know that you are not living up to your true potential.
In order to start getting closer to your deepest dreams you need to learn how you can be the master of your time and where and when you take action. The best thing you can do is to start seeing yourself as the catalyst of action. In other words, you are the person in charge and the person who starts everything off. All the actions that follow are basically just a continuation of what you started.
What you will quickly realize is that things often seem a lot harder than they really are, as soon as you get started however they are really not that bad and time seems to fly by once you get into the groove. The easiest way you can start this momentum is to just start as soon as you start finding excuses for why you shouldn't do a given task. Just jump out of your seat and get started immediately and before you know it you will have so much momentum that you don't want to stop. The best part of the whole thing is the nice fulfilling feeling you have after you have accomplished what you needed to.
