Okay so over the last few posts we explained what exactly Article Submission is, how it works, what it accomplishes and how to automate your article marketing. I want to now go over some tips that can help you down the line with you article marketing efforts. The first thing you should always be concerned about is the Click thru rate of your Signature within the articles, the more targeted your keywords and keyword density within the articles will determine how many targeted people click your Signature link. This is the first part of a putting together a good Article marketing plan.
Let's now take a look at some more tips:
* Never just chose the selected keywords Ezines will suggest for you! This is a bad thing to do. You want to do some keyword analysis using Google Keyword tool and build your mini keyword lists to use. I usually make 15 or so groupings of 8-10 keywords and save them in a text file. I then will randomly select a grouping based upon the article content.
* Change your Signature box based upon the article you are writing to get even higher click thru rates
* Always manually be submitting to the top ten or so article directories to ensure approved articles and prevent accounts from being banned. The list of the top 10 or so article marketing sites is very powerful and they hold a huge page rank.
* Use the Article Marketing Robot Software to easily build backlinks through automated Article Marketing. This is how the Big Boys do it! You need this.
* Once you determine what articles are getting you the most traffic, go back and add more calls to action within the article and make sure their call to action (your signature box) is getting a high click thru rate. There is no use having an article getting thousands of views if the viewers are not doing anything! This is key
* Ping your articles. Yup, you ping your own blog, so why wouldn't you ping articles on high page ranked sites.... Let search engines know they exist and are alive.
* Don't be scared of going after Long Tail keyword traffic. This traffic gets higher click thru rates and converts much better.
* Headlines are usually the most important part of the ad. Make your headline stand out but at the same time make sure it tells the reader what the article is actually going to be about.
There are some tips and tricks to hold you for now. I will likely do more articles about article marketing in the future. That is enough info to get you going in the proper direction and hopefully get you some sales.
