There are some great features of a voice mail system, particularly like with Freedom Voice where you can do voice mail blast. If you're doing this the right way, any potential seller that ever calls you, hopefully you're keeping their phone numbers and names in some sort of database, particularly if you have private lenders that are calling you, or potential private lenders. You're keeping the database of their information. You can then turn around and do a voice mail blast back to those people.Voice Mail BlastMaybe you've got buyers that have called you over the last year or two. You've accumulated 50 names and numbers, and all the sudden you get a new property. You could then simply upload the phone numbers into the software and you could record a one-minute message about this new property and do a voice mail blast back to these individuals.Again it's a very powerful way to get the word out to 50 people that have called you in the past about buying your properties. That's a pretty nice system. It doesn't take a lot of time, and maybe one of those people are interested in buying the property, or maybe they know somebody else who's interested. So you send out 50 voice mails, and each person there knows 50 people, so you're getting the word out into the community about your potential property.How Voice Mail Blast WorksThe way it works is you can have the voice mail go to the person if they answer the phone live, or you can have it go to their voice mail only if you don't want to deliver it to them live.So if they answer the phone, the computer understands it somehow - don't ask me how - but it knows it's a live phone call and it would hang up. But if it's a voice mail it would leave the message, so that person would then in the future listen to that message. Again that's one advantage of those voice mail systems.You can do voice mail blasts. You can segregate your marketing. You can get valuable information about your marketing, what marketing is working and things of that nature. It's very valuable and it saves you guys a lot of time not having to do things over and over again.In fact, I believe it will improve your image because when you do leave the voice mail you'll have time to practice, you'll have a script in front of you, and you can deliver that script fairly well.If you're in the car or whatever, you're going to forget things, you're not going to deliver it as well, and I think the quality of your delivery will substantially hurt you.Really, the fourth most powerful reason is you'll eliminate all the people that are not interested and you really get to the people who are truly quality prospects, people who are interested in either buying, selling, or renting from you.
